Terrell Weston - Services for Venice Olga Terrell of Weston, 78-year-old retired seamstress who died Friday in a McKinney hospital, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Rev. Clyde Moore will officiate and burial will be in Van Alstyne cemetery. Mrs. Terrell was born in Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Whitaker, and married Wallace C. Terrell May 9, 1924, in Van Alstyne. She was member of the Weston Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband; daughters, Mary Lee Putman of Grand Prairie and Helen Greer of Pottsboro; sons, W.T. Terrell of Richardson, Glenn E. Terrell of Germany and Wallace C. Terrell, Jr. of Weston; sister, Mrs. Jim Corneiles of Celina; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be Bailey Dickerson, James Wade, Ray Lougridge, Edwin Hayes, Charlie Adams, Barney Elam, James Hyndman and John Putman. Sherman Democrat
Sunday, August 29, 1991 pg A10 Wallace Terrell Weston - Wallace C. Terrell, 86-year-old retired farmer of Weston, died Saturday in Celina Care Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Rev. Tim Sublett will officiate, and burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Terrell was born in Altoga, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Will Terrell, and married Venice Whitaker on May 9, 1924. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are his daughters, Mary Lee Puttnam of Grand Prairie and Helen Marie Greer of Pottsboro; sons, W.T. Terrell of Richardson, Glen Edward Terrell of Anna and Wallace C. Terrell Jr. of Celina; and 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
