FORMER RESIDENT LAID
TO REST HERE THRUSDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Josie Blair Templeton, 87, a former resident of  Van Alstyne, who died last week in Encino, Calif., were held last Thursday afternoon at two o'clock in the Flesher Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. J. D. Stewart. Interment was in the City  Cemetery.
Mrs. Templeton was born in Hollis, Ark., on March 7, 1872, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John K. Danphit. She left Van Alstyne 18 years ago.
She is survived by two sons, five daughters, 22 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
