Van Alstyne - Services for Mrs. Eula Taylor of Van Alstyne 79-year-old homemaker who died Sunday
at North Texas Medical Center in McKinney, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Church.

The Rev. Donald Griffith and the Rev. Ed Adams will officiate and burial will be in Van Alstyne cemetery directed by Flesher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Texas, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Grissom, and married Herbert Taylor
on Dec. 23, 1926 in Van Alstyne.

She had been a music teacher in Van Alstyne for many years and was a member of the First Christian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution and Van Alstyne Culture Club.
Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Rowena Britt of Nampa, Idaho; son Lyndon Taylor of Dallas; sisters,
Mrs. Mary Russell of Whitesboro and Mrs. Sally Lewis of Van Alstyne; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Harold Knorr, Joe Russell, Jack Russell, Carl Pierson, Jesse Savage and Benny Edwards.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and other times at the family residence.
