Florena Stinnett
Van Alstyne - Graveside services for Florena Stinnett, 92, of Van Alstyne, will be held Monday March 30, 1998, 1 p.m. at Van Alstyne Cemetery.  She died March 20, 1998 at Meadowbrook Care Center.
Officiating minister will be Tom Haddox.  Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.  Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are one daughter, Flora Stinnett of Duncanville, Texas; one sister, Lizzie of Sherman and 1 grandchild.


Services for Alvin William Stinnett, 103, of Van Alstyne were held Dec. 27 in Eastside Church of Christ in Van Alstyne.  He died Dec. 21 at Hilltop Haven Nursing Home in Gunter. Burial was in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr. Stinnett was born in Texas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Simon P. Stinnett and married Florena Baines in 1931 in Durant, Okla.  He was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife; daughters, Flora Mae Stinnett of Fort Worth and Carrie Lou Franklin of Richland, Calif.; and several grandchildren.
Flesher Funeral Home was in charge.
