Van Alstyne, Texas -- Services for Monte Jean Fedfern Toles, 72, of Van Alstyne will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Scoggins Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Pool will officiate and burial will follow in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. She passed away on Sunday at Wilson N Jones Regional Medical Center in Sherman.

She was born December 13, 1942 in Dallas, Texas to Gregg and Beulah Ratcliff Redfern she married James Toles August 23, 1968 in Dallas. She retired after 20 years of service from Lake Lavon Baptist Encampment where she served as office manager.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband: James A. Toles of Van Alstyne. Son: William J. Toles of McKinney. Son and daughter in law: Edward and Tina Toles of Clara, Alabama. Daughter: Christine Warden of Allen. Seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory, 637 W.
