Gilbert Lynn Whitacre, age 56 of Holly Hill, FL passed away February 9, 2010 in Ormond Beach, FL.  He was born on March 28, 1953 in Summit County, OH to Kenneth L. and Freda (Grall) Whitacre.
Gilbert is survived by his sister, Audrey Albright of South Daytona, FL and nephew, Walter Albright of Holly Hill, FL.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Van Alstyne Cemetery in Van Alstyne, TX with Gary Gibbs officiating.
