November 27, 1978 Page 13 VAN ALSTYNE - Services for William Lenton Young, 69, a retired construction worker, who died Sunday at a Sherman hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Scott Jordan of the First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Young was born in Texas, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John M. Young, and was married to Lois Reynolds on Oct. 30, 1926 in Howe. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Van Alstyne. Surviving are his wife; daughters, Mrs. June Evans of Mt. Pleasant, Mrs. Mary Raney of Van Alstyne; Mrs. Bobbie McKnight of Sherman, and Mrs. Barbara McKay of Winterhaven, Calif.; brothers, Elbert Young and Ernest Young, both of Van Alstyne, Johnny Young of Riverside, Calif., and Floyd Young of Weston; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Pallbearers are Tommy and Donny Evans, Kelly Richardson, Dickie McKnight, Lenny Kannady and Glen Wetzel. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday and other times at the Raney residence in Van Alstyne. Jones Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. today in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Scott Jordan and Rev. Jimmy Tarrant will officiate, and burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Young was born in Whitewright, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Reynolds and married William L. Young. She was a Baptist. Surviving are her daughters, June Evans of Mt. Pleasant, Bobbie McKnight and Barbara McKay, both of Sherman, and Mary Raney of Van Alstyne; sister, Mrs. J. L. McGuffee of Van Alstyne; and 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
