A22 Tom Bean - Gary Achimon, loving husband, father and son, went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2003. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 at the First Baptist Church of Tom Bean with Mike Courtney and Paul Howie officiating. Burial will follow at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Achimon was born on Oct. 6, 1963, in McKinney, Texas, son of L.C. and Donnita Achimon. He married Evelyn Standifer on June 24, 1996, in Sherman, Texas. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Pennell, Bryce Thompson, Bruce Anderson, Dale Marable, Wade Carson and David Chumbley. Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Achimon of Tom Bean; three daughters, Holly Achimon of Norman, Okla., Lauren Achimon of Tom Bean and Sarah Word of Bonham; two sons, Matt Achimon of College Station, Texas and Clint Word of Dallas; parents, L.
