FINAL RITES FOR MRS. G. F. SAVAGE ( Mollie Savage)

Prominent Cold Springs Woman Succumbs after Four-Month Illness
Mrs. Frank Savage, 64, well-known resident of the Cold Springs community, died at 8:50 p.m. Wednesday at her home in the Cold Springs community following illness of four months. Funeral services were to be held today (Thursday) at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist church here with the Rev. Frank Johnston, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Hall of Carrollton. Burial was to be in the Van Alstyne cemetery with Fox.-Fanning directing.
Mrs. Savage was born August 13, 1875, about three miles southwest of Van Alstyne, residing in that community for several years. She was married to Frank Savage August 3, 1892. She was a member of
the Baptist church joining when only a child.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Savage; ten children, Mrs. Ed Bourland, Memphis, Texas, Mrs. U.D.Speck, Wichita Falls, Mrs. Sam Young, Denison, Mrs. Fred Springfield, Van Alstyne, Mrs. Robert Bailey, Dallas, Jim Savage, Dallas, Edgar Savage, McKinney, Carl Savage, Van Alstyne, Jesse Savage, Dallas, and Criss Savage, Van Alstyne; three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Battle, Dallas, Mrs. O.B.Cotten, Bartlesville Okla., and Mrs. Susie Ward, Ardmore, Oklahoma; 22 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers named were Curtis Bourland, Edgar Bourland, David Speck, Frank Linden Savage, Frank Savage and Harry Savage.
Honorary pallbearers named were Home Tate, Roy Adams, Wess Cook, Frank McMahan, Stanford Pope, Bill Rae, Luther Creager and Jess Terry.
