Bean, Texas -- Ronald (Ronnie) Dean Pleasant Sr. was born in McKinney,
Texas on November 3, 1952 to Johnnie B. Pleasant Sr. and Ella Clara
Pleasant. He passed away at his home on July 20, 2015 at the age
of 62.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Debe Heather Pleasant of Whitewright, Texas. His children, daughter, Shanna Jenkins and husband Eric Jenkins of Weimar, Texas, daughter, Cheryl Pleasant of Mt. Vernon, Washington, son, Ronald Dean Pleasant Jr. of Weimar, Texas, son, Rusty Hall of Whitewright, Texas. His grandchildren: Joshua Wade Pleasant, Madison Lynn Posey, Danielle Lace Burns, Jacob Gage Pleasant, Bailey Shy Ann Pleasant, Kason Lee Pleasant, Alexis Ann Hall, Jazzmin Gage, Chazz Diaz, and Chanze Ray Hall. His great grandchildren: Levi Orbin Wade Pleasant, Rebekah June Alyse Pleasant, and Christian Dean Burns. His parents, father, Johnnie B. Pleasant Sr. of Tom Bean, Texas, mother, Ella Clara Pleasant of Mt. Vernon, Washington. His two brothers, Johnnie B. Pleasant Jr. and wife Lucy Pleasant of Melissa, Texas, Kenneth Pleasant and wife Sherry Pleasant of Mt. Vernon, Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother James Edmond (Eddie) Lessner, and brother George Hunter Lessner, and daughter Heather Faye Hall. Ronnie was a kind hearted soul who never met a stranger, and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a fighter from birth and always fought for his love of life, and there was always a twinkle in his eye. He was a hardworking man and always took pride in all he did. He had an inner quiet strength within him you couldn’t help but admire. And with his contagious smile and laugh he could brighten your day and bring a smile to your face. He will be dearly and forever missed by all who loved and knew him. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Jenkins officiating.
