News reached Van Alstyne yesterday of the death at Durant, Oklahoma, on Tuesday of Mrs. Lon O'Neill, well-known former resident of this community.  No particulars were given, except that Mrs. O'Neill's death followed an operation.  Her body will be brought to Van Alstyne today, present arrangements contemplating the holding of the funeral at 11 o'clock this morning.  Cleve Wright, of Van Alstyne, brother  of Mrs. O'Neill will accompany the body from Durant.
The sympathy of the entire community will be accorded the relatives in their bereavement.
