 Delbert Ray Hensley August 8, 1940 - April 17, 2013  Funeral
services for Delbert Ray Hensley age 72 of Van Alstyne will be held at
11:00 am Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel in
Van Alstyne. Burial will follow in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. The family
will receive friends Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Scoggins Funeral
Home. Delbert passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at his residence.
He was born August 8, 1940 in Wylie, Texas to Clarence and Burney Mae
Sealey Hensley. He married Norma Williams March 3, 1962 in Mesquite,
Texas. Delbert was a retired Sheel Metal Worker, served in the United
States Marines and was a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Van
Alstyne. He is survived by his wife; Norma Hensley of Van Alstyne.
Sons; Steven Hensley of Carrollton, Mike Hensley and wife Cindy of Van
Alstyne. Daughter; Lisa Canfield and husband Kyle of Carrollton.
Brothers; Dennis Hensley, George Hensley, Perry Hensley and Jerry
Hensley. 4 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and
sister Patsy Taylor. Services are under the direction of Scoggins
Funeral Home-Van Alstyne.
