Van Alstyne Leader
November 11, 1920 Died at Tom Bean. E. L. Minor, a young business man of Tom Bean, died in that city Tuesday night and was buried in Van Alstyne cemetery Wednesday. Mr. Minor was the son of the late John W. Minor, who died in this community a few years ago, and was living with his mother, Mrs. Susie Minor at the time of his death. He was born January 24th, 1896, and for several years lived with his parents here, moving away about 1912 and was engaged in conducting an auto garage at Tom Bean. He was an exemplary young man, highly esteemed by the people of Tom Bean. Funeral services were conducted at the cemetery by Rev. W. Harrison Baker, pastor of the Methodist church, and a large number of Tom Bean people were here to attend the funeral. His mother and other relatives have our sincere sympathy.
