Van Alstyne, Texas -- Donna June Cook went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2015 at her home in Van Alstyne, Texas. Donna was born on May 25, 1963 in Sherman, Texas to Marion (Wayne) and Mary Raney. She married Billy Don Cook on May 26, 1989 in Van Alstyne, Texas. They were married for 26 years.

Donna was a member of Elmont Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Raney.

Donna is survived by her husband Billy Cook of Van Alstyne. Father and Step-Mother:  Marion (Wayne) and Helen Raney of Sherman. Daughter and Son-in-Law:  Amber and Mark Reynolds of Van Alstyne. Daughter: Kendra Cook of Van Alstyne. Son:  Aaron Kanaday of Van Alstyne. 4 grandchildren: Kaden, Kinsley and Karley Reynolds and Harmony Kanaday.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26 at Elmont Baptist Church. Rev. Mark Fletcher
will officiate and burial will follow in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Scoggins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be John Woodson, Wade Jones, Tom Anderson, Ted Morrison and Joe Young and Corey Horton.
