in Haughton. He was born December 22, 1920 in Lark, OK to Burl Woolard and Mary Jane Guest. He is a former resident of Sherman. He married Catherine Freeman January 29, 1979 in Las Vegas, NV.He is preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Woolard McKay, and by four brothers.He is survived by his wife, Catherine Woolard of Haughton, LA, one son, Harold Sterling Woolard of Montgomery, TX, two step-sons, James Alton Brown of Garland, TX, and Donald W. Brown of Haughton, LA, one daughter, Judy Kay Stephens of Greshan, OR, three granddaughters, Terri Allen of Montgomery, TX, Pricilla and Jenny Stephens both of Dallas, one great-grandson, Ryan Allen, and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 28, 2009 at Van Alstyne Cemetery under the direction of Flesher Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10:00 am, one hour prior to service, at the funeral home.
