MRS. MARY F. THURMAN Mrs. Mary F. Thurman, 84, sister of Mrs. Ida Marr of Van Alstyne, died early Wednesday at the Eastern Star home at Arlington where she had lived eight years. Funeral services are to be held at the Baptist church here at 12:30 p.m. today, conducted by the Rev. Frank Johnston, pastor. Burial will be in Van Alstyne cemetery beside her husband, Will Thurman, who died in 1924. Mrs. Thurman was born Sept. 8, 1854, at Fairfield, Ill., as Mary Hausman. She came to Texas at an early age. She was married to Mr. Thurman, prominent North Texas Mason of early years, and they lived for many years at McKinney. Mrs. Thurman later made her home at Casper, Wyo. She was a member of the Baptist church. Mrs. Marr is her only relative surviving.
