 Melba J. Teasley 15 November 1929 - 3 February 1989 Sherman Democrat Sunday, February 5, 1989 pg A20 Van Alstyne - Services for Melba J. Teasley, 59, of Van Alstyne, who died Friday at Wilson N. Jones hospital in Sherman, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Flesher Funeral Home Chapel. Normal Ewell and Douglas Bickenbach will officiate. Burial will be in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Teasley was born in Van Alstyne, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Bell. She had worked as an office manager. She was a member of the Van Alstyne Westside Church of Christ. Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Virgie Mae Bell of Van Alstyne; sisters; Mrs. Dorothy Long of Austin and Mrs. Margaret Williams and Mrs. Ruth Gaston, both of Van Alstyne; and brother, Don Bell of Van Alstyne.
