Services for Gwenlyn Parker Taylor, 63-year-old retired real estate broker of 5605 Camino who died Friday in Wilson N. Jones Hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Flesher Funeral Home chapel in Van Alstyne.
Rev. James Garrard and Rev. B.C. Robertson will officiate, and burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Parker, and married James Nelson Taylor on Aug. 19, 1944 in Austin. She was a member of the St. Stephen's Episcopal Church.
Surviving are her husband; daughter, Dorothy Louise Bloom of Fairview, Pa.; son, Robert Spencer Taylor Sherman; sisters, Doryce Wiggins of Van Alstyne and Jeanette Parker of Denton; brother, Hancel Parker of Van Alstyne; and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bill Wiggins, Phil Wiggins, Randy Parker, John Kenneth Hynds, Terry Stewart and James Park Fielder.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday and other times at the Doryce Wiggins residence, Dobbins' Estate, Van Alstyne.

James Nelson Taylor, 75, of Sherman, died Monday, Jan. 29, 1996, at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne, with Pete Robertson officiating. Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born on June 18, 1920, in Van Alstyne, Texas, the son of Spencer Taylor and Maude Umphress Taylor. He married Gwenlyn Parker in 1944. She preceded him in death in 1990.
He was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force. He was a retired banker and a member of the Episcopalian Church.
Pallbearers will be Judge Don Jarvis, Richard Reynolds, Robert Hynds, Bill Wiggins, Randy Parker and John Thomas. Honorary: Jim Fielder, Terry Stewart and Mark Gilbert.In memoriam William C. Kulp.
Surviving are one daughter, Dorothy and her husband, R. Lee Bloom, D.O. of Fairview, Pa.; one son, Spencer Taylor of Sherman; two grandchildren, Christopher Bloom and Alexis Bloom, both of Fairview, Pa.
The family will be at Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday.
