Mina Bell Taylor, 82-year-old Sherman homemaker and retired seamstress, died Tuesday at her home.  Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne.  The Rev. Tim Mahoney of East Sherman Baptist Church will officiate with burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mrs. Taylor was born in Gunter, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Doggett.  She married Dan Taylor Feb. 26, 1927, in Celina.
She had retired from Pool Manufacturing and had been a member of East Sherman Baptist Church for 50 years.
Surviving are her husband; sons, Weldon Taylor of Midland and Doyle Taylor of Humble; brothers, Joe Doggett of Howe and Granville Doggett of Lubbock; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry Taylor, Forrest E. Taylor, Jeff Harper, Steve Taylor, Dave Washam and Gary Doggett.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today.

Dan Webster Taylor, 89-year-old Sherman resident and retired cotton gin erector for Hardwicke-Etter, died Tuesday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne, with the Rev. Thomas Beall, pastor of East Sherman Baptist Church, officiating.  Burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr. Taylor was born in Celina, the son of Walter and Nora McKinnis Taylor.  He married Mina Bell Doggett Feb. 26, 1927, in Celina.
He was a member of East Sherman Baptist church for 53 years and had served as deacon for many years.  He was a life-long resident of Grayson County.
Surviving are his sons, Weldon Lee Taylor of Midland and Doyle Edward Taylor of Humble; sister, Elain Dobbs of Baycliff; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Zackary Taylor, Steve Taylor, Ryan Taylor, Daree Watson, Perry Dan Taylor, Forrest Edward Taylor, Jeff Harper and James Watson.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday and other times at the residence, 210 Tolbert, in Sherman.
