McKinney, Tx Monday, 23 April 1962 J C TALLENT PASSES AWAY IN COLLIN HOSPITAL James Calvin Tallent, 95, who resided at 1003 North Bradley Street, died Sunday in Collin Memorial Hospital. He was a retired farmer. Funeral services were held at 3 pm Monday in the Church of God, Revs T. J. Oneal, J. W. Jackson, and W. C. Isaacs officiating with interment in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Crouch-Moore Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Beulah Gatewood of Muleshoe; Mrs Pauline Binion and Mrs Ruby Aarin, McKinney; sons, Troy Tallent, of Muleshoe, Floyd Tallent, Lamesa; sister, Mrs Lee Blackburn, Trenton, brothers, Henry and Bill Tallent, Tennessee; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
