McKinney - Services for Rayburn Uriah Swann, 72, of McKinney, who died
Tuesday in a McKinney hospital, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in
Flesher Funeral Chapel in Van Alstyne. The Rev. Earl J. Rogers will conduct the services and burial will be in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mr. Swann was born in Texas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Swann and married Ruth Stinnett July 24, 1945, at Tom Bean. He was employed 30 years as automotive service manager for Bullock Motor Company. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge Number 51 at McKinney. He is survived by his wife of McKinney; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bill Rhea, Ronnie Seals, Clyde Ball, Carl Renfro, Fred Cook, Joe Carrol, Red Fraze and Leo Malinowski. The family will be at Flesher's from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and other times at the family residence, 1303 W. Lamar, McKinney.
