Burial is at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Rev. Jim Poole of Ferris and Rev. David Griffin of Elmont Baptist Church will officiate. Arrangements are under direction of Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne. Mrs. Stroud was born in Caney, Okla., daughter of Clyde Waller and Allie Ryan Waller. She married David Stroud Sept. 4, 1964 in Van Alstyne. She was a member of Elmont Baptist Church. Survivors include husband of Van Alstyne; mother of Van Alstyne; daughter, Michelle Stroud of Van Alstyne; brothers, Ernest Waller of Oklahoma City, Kenneth Waller of Prosper; sisters, Bessie Smith of Shawnee, Okla., Leona Klause of Oklahoma City. Family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and other times at the family residence, Route 1, Van Alstyne.
