  Annie M. Strickland 1893 - 1985 Van
Alstyne - Services for Annie Mae Strickland of Van Alstyne, 92-year-old
retired department store clerk and housewife who died Wednesday in
Meadowbrook Nursing home, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Flesher
Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Scott Jordan will officiate and burial will be in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Strickland was born in Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Neill, and married Mark Strickland in 1916 in Van Alstyne. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Jack Strickland of Van Alstyne; sister, Sally Dickerson of Anna; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be William Riddle, Bill Riddle, Ron Moore, Ron Wood, Richard Valdez and David Schatz. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday and other times at the Jack Strickland residence.  Mark L.
