Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Kerr Stinnett, 66, of Dallas, were held Sunday, July 11, at 2 p.m. at Flesher Funeral Home with burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery.  Rev. John Lightfoot officiated.  Mrs. Stinnett died at 9 a.m. Saturday in a Lubbock hospital.
She was born July 26, 1904, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Parks, and married Glen W. Stinnett in March of 1924 in Bryan, Texas.  Mr. Stinnett died July 17, 1966.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Priscilla Lou Althaus of Lubbock; one son, Glenn W. Stinnett Jr. of Saratoga, Calif.; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Merrie Binkley of El Paso, and Mrs. Lucy Hogan of Rock Port.
