 Earl Stewart 8 March 1917 - 13 September 1969 Ardie Stewart 19 December 1929 - Van Alstyne Leader Thursday, September 18, 1969 Service for Earl Stewart, 52, of Denison, who died early Saturday, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Van Alstyne Church of Christ. Mr. Stewart,who was born in 1917, was the son of Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Stewart. Survivors include his wife, Ardie; five daughters, Brenda Sue, Sharon, Nancy, Shannon and Gay Marie; and five sons, Wayne, Glen, Gary, Jim and David, all of Denison; his mother, Mrs. Delia Stewart of Sherman; two sisters, Mrs. Jewel Vinard of Van Alstyne and Mrs. Wanna Sweney of Ft. Worth; and a brother, Eugene Stewart of McKinney. Burial was in the Van Alstyne cemetery. Flesher Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
