Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 6, at the Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Tom Files officiated. Burial was in the Van Alstyne Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Linda Smith of Garland; daughter, Krista Hale of Grand Prairie; son, Denzie Johnson of Mesquite and three grandchildren.
