Selby 20 June 1931 - Sherman Democrat Sunday January 18, 1976 HOWE - Services for Lois Weldon Selby of Howe, 69, retired employe of the Texas Highway Department, who died Saturday at his home following an extended illness, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Howe Baptist Church. The Rev. Johnny Johnson and the Rev. Sam Randolph, Methodist and Baptist pastors respectively, will officiate and burial will be in a Van Alstyne cemetery directed by Flesher Funeral Home. A native Texan, Mr. Selby was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oris G. Selby, was a Baptist and was married to Mrs. Margaret Finney on Oct. 15, 1928 in McKinney. Survivors include his wife; sons, James Finney of Howe and Ray W. Selby of Irving; brother, Eugene Selby of Sherman; sister, Mrs. Helen Tipton of Albuquerque, N.M.; half-brother, Oris G. Selby Jr. of Fort Worth; half-sister, Miss Mary Loraine Selby of Fort Worth; step-mother, Mrs. Mary Selby of Fort Worth; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Harold Waller, J. C. Waller, Ray Brown, Max Selby, Clint Larkin and Gene Larkin.
