- Funeral services for Rebecca Ann Phillips, 85, of Cooper will be held
in the chapel of the Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne. She died
Sunday morning at Birchwood Manor Nursing Home in Cooper.
Dr. Scott Jordan of Gunter will officiate the funeral services. Burial will be at the Van Alstyne Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips was born July 23, 1903 in Burk, Tx. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim McDonald. She was a member of the Baptist church and married Clyde O. Phillips in October 1919 in Elmont, Tx. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lahoma Whitaker of Plainview and Mrs. Clydene Hill of Cooper; four sons, R. J. Phillips of Fort Worth, A. H. Phillips of DeKalb, Dalton Phillips of Salado, Ark. and David Phillips of Melissa. Other survivors include 22 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. Mrs. Phillips' family will be at the Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
