Overbey 1882 - 1970 Denison Herald Wednesday Evening, 8 July 1970 Howe - Funeral for Mrs. Lillie Caroline Overby, 88, who died Tuesday at a Van Alstyne nursing home, will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Howe Baptist Church with burial in the Van Alstyne Cemetery, Flesher Funeral Home in charge. She was born Jan. 29, 1882 in Texas and was married to Charlie Overby Aug. 26, 1900. Survivors include one son, Tim of Sherman; four daughters, Mrs. Grace Dobbins of Van Alstyne, Mrs. Thelma Cherry of Howe, Mrs. Maud Greene of Farmington, N.M., and Mrs. Avis Evans of Jasper, Ark.; three sisters, Mrs. Maude Edeny of Itasca, Mrs. Artie Coburn of Westbrook, and Mrs. Kate Robinson of Anna; nine grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
