Mrs. Sue Miner, aged
70, died at her home at Tom Bean Tuesday
morning at 8:30 o'clock. Funeral
services were held
Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Church of Christ
at Tom Bean with J.R. Waldrum
officiating.
Interment was at the Van Alstyne Cemetery by
the side of her husband.
Mrs. Miner was born
October 16, 1865, at Whitemound, the
daughter of Henry and Letitia Lackey.
She married John W.
Miner October 28, 1894. She was the
mother of four children, all of whom
preceded her in
death. She had been a member of the
Church of Christ since childhood and
taught a Sunday school
class.
She is survived by her
sister, Mrs. C.C. Fogle, and two brothers,
G.A. Lackey of Sherman and
A.L. Lackey of
Brookston.
