Alstyne - Graveside services for William
Leslie McKinney of Houston,
75-year-old salesman who died Wednesday at
Hermann Hospital in Houston,
will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in Van
Alstyne Cemetery.
Mr.
McKinney was born in Texas, a son of Mr. and
Mrs. Eben Mansel McKinney,
and married Margaret Sabo on Nov. 13, 1945,
in Houston.
He
was the great-great-grandson of Collin
McKinney, a signer of the Texas
Declaration of Indepencence, a member of the
Christian church and a
veteran of World War II.
Surviving
are his wife; daughters, Diane Moody of
Houston and Susan Lusk of
Norcross, Ga.; brother, John William
McKinney of Tomball; sister,
Frances McKinney Lee of Manvel; half-sister,
Peggy McKinney of Burnet;
half brother, Robert Mansel McKinney of
Burnet; and four grandchildren.
