VAN
ALSTYNE - Claude Estelle McKinney, 80-year-old
Van Alstyne resident,
died Tuesday at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in
Sherman. Services
will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Eastside
Church of Christ here. Melvin Chappell and
Larry Shed will officiate and burial will be
in Van Alstyne Cemetery. Arrangements are under
the direction of Flesher Funeral Home. Mr.
McKinney was born in Van Alstyne, the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Henry
McKinney. In January 1932, he married
Mable Lee Morris in Durant,
Okla. A retired maintenance
employee of Taylor Grain, he was also a Mason
and member of Eastside Church
of Christ. Surviving are his wife;
three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. The family will be at
the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday,
and other times at the family residence.
