64-year-old private accountant who died
Sunday in Belaire Hospital in
Houston, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday
in Van Alstyne
Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Wilkinson of the
First United Methodist
Church will officiate. Arrangements
are under the direction of
Flesher Funeral Home.
Mr. McKinney was born in Van Alstyne, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Josiah McKinney, and married Celeska Eubank, Aug. 5, 1944. He was a graduate of the University of Texas, Phi Beta Kappa. He was a Methodist and a descendant of Collin McKinney, for whom both the city of McKinney and Collin County were named. Surviving are his wife; son David McKinney of Lubbock; and four grandchildren.
