    INFANT DIES

The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Umphress on Tuesday afternoon, March 25, and claimed as his victim their little one-year old baby girl after an illness of several weeks from measles
and whopping cough.  Weep not, father and mother and brothers and sisters. You loved her, but Jesus loved her best, and has taken her home to await your coming.

Our aching hearts so full of pain,
Unto His will must bow;
For heavenly heights are now her gain,
And happy is she now.
No more can we kiss our darling,
Or clasp the little hand;
For God in his infinite wisdom,
Has called her to that beautiful land.
The days are long and dreary,
And again for her we sigh;
Our hearts will ever be weary,
Till our meeting bye and bye.
So farewell, dear little darling,
From us you have surely gone;
The loved ones on earth are striving,
To meet you on that resurrection morn.
An Aunt
