Virginia Lucile Krehbiel, wonderful wife,
mother, grandmother and
friend passed away on Wednesday, April 24,
2013 at the age of 77 in
Norman, OK. She was born December 30, 1935
in Van Alstyne, TX. She was
preceded in death by her parents Clyde and
Charlie Massie, son Kevin,
and two sisters Mary Goss and Margaret
Chrisman. She is survived by her
husband of 57 years Kenneth, daughters
Teresa Madden of Ft. Smith, AR,
Jan Monson and husband Doug of Mustang,
OK, one sister Kathryn Carter
of Van Alstyne, TX, and three precious
grandchildren Mariah, Erika and
Luke. She held a bachelors degree from The
University of North Texas
and a masters degree from The University
of Oklahoma. She was retired
from the Norman Public School System. She
was a member of The First
Christian Church in Norman, OK. Donations
can be made to The American
Cancer Society. Graveside service will be
held at the Van Alstyne
Cemetery Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2:00pm.
The family will receive
friends at Scoggins Funeral Home one hour
prior to the service.
Services are under the direction of
Scoggins Funeral Home, 637 W. Van
Alstyne Parkway, Van Alstyne, Texas.
