Effie B. Jenkins
Information on Ancestry -Her birth date is 30 Sep 1878, she died in 1878
Her father and  mother - John Smith Jenkins and  Mary
Ella Beall Jenkins.

Checking to find more about Effie's family I found there are currently mistakes across the net with her husbands identity.;

1. John Smith Jenkins and Mary Ella Beall married in Grayson County in Sherman. in 27 July 1876.

2. They lived in Grayson County and had their little daughter Effie, who died and is buried in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
She lived and in 1878.
3. In the McKinney Weekly Democrate-Gazette  issue of 2 Nov 1893, they divorced.
"Mary E Jenkins vs John S Jenkins, divorce granted."

Her mother died in 1901 and buried in McKinney in the Pecan Grove Cemetery.
They had a son named Albert Edward Jenkins born 12 Sep 1883 in McKinney, Texas.
He died 14 Aug 1954. Maui, Hawaii Territory. and buried in Alameda Ca.

There is a newspaper article about a party at Mrs J S Jenkins in North West McKinney in Mar 1890.
Several party-goers  were from Van Alstyne and Whitewright area.

Lawyer J S Jenkins has some ads in the paper in McKinney.

Then I saw an article in the McKinney papers in 1897, that Albert Jenkins is visiting his father,
the "Honorable J S Jenkins" in Oklahoma City in Oklahoma Territory.

He
went to Oklahoma City and remarried in 1900

I also found this article about J S in Oklahoma City.
