MORTUARY
Sherman,
Tex., March 5 - Mrs. C.J. Hufford, aged 58
years, died last night of
pneumonia and the body will be shipped to
Van Alstyne tomorrow for
burial beside her late husband, Dr. C.J. Hufford,
who died here 17 years ago.
Deceased has resided in Grayson
County many years and was widely known as
a good Christian woman.
She
is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. John
Stone of Ardmore, I.T.; Mrs. B.H.
Cook, of Palmer; Mrs. F. Ditler and
Miss Lillie Hufford of
Sherman. She is also survived
by 2 sisters, Mrs. C.C.
McCorkle of Van Alstyne and Mrs. W.M.
Granbury of Stephenville.
She was a member of the
Travis Street Methodist Church and funeral
services will be conducted by
Rev. J.L. Pearce, the pastor.
Services will be at the late residence at
10:45 tomorrow
morning and the remains will then be
conveyed to the Central train, leaving for Van Alstyne at 12:05
p.m.
