LaJuana was born in Tropic, Utah on September 2, 1938. LaJuana was married to Weldon R. Hogan on December 25, 1955. LaJuana opened LaJuana’s Dress Shop is Van Alstyne, Texas. She ran that for 15 years and then she pursued her hobby of quilting. She was also actively involved in many quilting clubs. LaJuana is survived by three sons, Robert of Gainesville, Johnny of Ardmore, and Paul of Howe. She is also survived by a sister, Myrna Townsend, Utah, twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren along with many other family and friends. LaJuana is preceded in death by her parents Lucy and Owen Shakespear, husband Weldon, daughter Lisa and grandson Levi. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Van Alstyne Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Scoggins Funeral Home in Van Alstyne. Services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory, 637 W.
