Van Alstyne, Texas, August 5. - A.W. Hodgin, aged 57, living about 2 miles north of Van Alstyne, died Wednesday night at the family home following a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife and 2 daughters, Mrs. R.T. Bradley and Mrs. Jim Rudd, all of whom live in this community.
The funeral services were held at the Methodist Church yesterday afternoon at 4 o'clock with burial in Van Alstyne Cemetery.
