Friday, April 24, 1942 pg 14 Bob Hanna Buried Thursday Funeral services were held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Baptist church for Robert (Bob) Hanna, 71 years, who died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. H. Harris, in McAllen, Tuesday, April 21. Rev. J. R. Hilger of Greenville officiated assisted by Rev. E. H. Colvin. Interment was made in the Van Alstyne cemetery. Mr. Hanna was born at Prairie Grove, Arkansas, October 29, 1870, and came to Texas with his parents at the age of 10 years having lived here 60 years and having operated a blacksmith shop here for 50 years, until about 14 months ago when he sold out and went to South Texas to live. Surviving are his wife, one daughter, Mrs. H. H. Harris of McAllen; two brothers, J. B. Hanna of Sherman and E. B. Hanna of Los Angeles, Calif.; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were P. J. Waldrop, Sherman; Roscoe Bradley, Charley Henley, E. R. Brodhead, Fletcher Jeter and Bud Holloway.
