June 1978 VAN ALSTYNE - Services for Michael Scott Haker, 14, who died Sunday when a pickup in which he was hauling hay overturned, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Elmont Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Bob Milligan and the Rev. Jerry Scott. Burial will be at the Van Alstyne Cemetery. Young Haker was born in Texas. He was a member of the Elmont Baptist Church. Surviving are parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Wesson of Van Alstyne; his father, Charles Haker of Anna; brother, Chuck Haker of Van Alstyne; sisters, Sandy Wesson of Van Alstyne, Darlene Wesson of Van Alstyne and Jody Wesson of Van Alstyne; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Wesson of Van Alstyne, Mrs. Elizabeth Bell of Van Alstyne, Mrs. Naomi Haker of Gunter, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Guinn of Denison, and great-grandmother, Mrs. Inez Fox of Van Alstyne. The family will be at the Flesher Funeral Home from 7 to 8 p.m. today and at other times at the family residence, Rt. 2 Van Alstyne. Mrs. Don Kirkland and Mrs. Neil C.
