Marsha
Ruth Gurak, 37-year-old Van Alstyne resident,
died Monday October 21,
1996 from injuries received in an automobile
accident on Highway 75
one-half mile north of Foster Crossing, Anna,
Texas.
Services
were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the First
Methodist Church in Van
Alstyne with Dr. Michael Daves officiating.
Burial was in Van Alstyne
Cemetery.
Surviving are her
husband,
John Gurak of Van Alstyne; daughter, Mary
Gurak of Van Alstyne; son,
John Gurak Jr. of Van Alstyne; mother,
Audrey Grounds of Van
Alstyne; sisters, Lorene Cone of Apple Valley,
Ca., Linda Long of
Bonham and Barbara Spencer of Van Alstyne;
brothers, Sam Grounds
of Houston, Madison Grounds of
Connecticut and Kim Grounds of
Denison.
