 Anna Guice 14 January 1885 - 17 May 1905 d/o J. F. & J. C. Teel Van Alstyne Leader Mrs. W. L. Guice Dead. A sad bit of information was received here Wednesday in the nature of a message from Will Guice, at Kingston, I.T., stating that his wife died at an early hour Wednesday morning. Mrs. Guice was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Teel of Elmont, and she and her husband formerly lived in this community. They were well liked here and many will learn with a pang of remorse that this good woman is gone from the earth. The LEADER is informed that Mrs. Guice had been ill for several weeks and that a sad calamity, blindness had befallen her several days ago. She leaves a little child only a few days old. The body was shipped to Van Alstyne and buried Thursday morning at the cemetery here. A number of friends and relatives witnessed the last sad rites that it was man's to perform for her and she now slumbers beneath a little mound awaiting her summons to the judgment bar.
