Carl W. Fulmer 18 January 1922 - 27 September 1944 Sergeant 359th Infantry 90th Infantry Division WWII Special to the Record-Chronicle Pilot Point, October 13, 1944 - Mr. and Mrs. James Robert Fulmer, who reside north of Pilot Point, have received word that their son, Carl Fulmer, was killed in action, in France, September 27. He was wounded several months ago and after recuperating returned to active service. He had been in overseas service about 30 months. He is survived by his parents, his wife and one child, one sister, and six brothers, three of whom are in goverment service. Body of Sgt. Fulmer to Arrive Tuesday The body of Sgt. Carl Fulmer will arrive in Pilot Point Tuesday at 4:10 p.m. and will be taken to the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Fulmer of Tioga. Funeral services will be held at Tioga Baptist Church Wednesday, 3 p.m. with burial in Tioga Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted. Beck Funeral Home at Pilot Point will be in charge.
