- Oleta Riley, 91, of Denton passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 at
Presbyterian Hospital of Denton. She was born July 9, 1917 in Sadler to
Lockie Self and Mittie Roberta Henderson Self. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.T. Riley Jr. She attended Texas Woman's University. She retired from TWU as textbook manager and was a member of First Baptist Church of Tioga. Visitation will be from 6 -8 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 26, in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Tioga Cemetery. She is survived by her daughter, Janna Todd of Lewisville; sons, Larry Riley of Denison, Don Riley of Freeport, Ken Riley of Denison; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A sincere thank you to neighbors and friends for the wonderful care given to our mom. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
