Funeral services were held in the Smith Funeral Chapel Saturday afternoon for Clyde Riddels, 79, of Collinsville.
Burial was in Tioga Cemetery.
Survivors include a brother, Carl Riddels of Dallas.

Gun Wound Fatal to Tioga Woman
Pilot Point,  Feb. 5 - Mrs. Clyde Riddels of Tioga, 56, died Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Anderson Clinic in Pilot Point of a gunshot wound which she received from an accidentally fired rifle at her home last Friday.  Funeral services were held Wednesday.
The fatal accident occurred when Mrs. Riddels 15- year-old son, Guy, was taking shells from a .22 rifle after returning from a hunting  trip.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Church of Christ at Tioga, conducted by George Henry Stephenson, minister.   Interment was in Tioga Cemetery.  The Beck Funeral Home at Pilot Point was in charge of services.
Born March 10, 1891 in Cleburne, Mrs. Riddels, the former Miss Tassie May Coffey, and Clyde Riddels were married in 1905 at Mountain Peak.  She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are her husband; 3 sons, Chester R., Carl [sic[ D. and Guy Riddels of Tioga; 5 daughters, Mrs. T. Usrey of Ft. Worth; Mrs. Taymond Dodson of Collinsville; Mrs. Howard James of Tioga; Mrs. Elzie Hall of Mansfield; Mrs. C. Hammel of Dallas; 27 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Willie, W.D. and A.C. Coffey of Ft. Worth; 2 sisters, Mrs. Glen Sloan of Maypearl and Mrs. Bob Barnes of Tioga.

Mrs. Tassey M. Riddels Buried at Tioga

Tioga, Texas , Feb. 5 - Services were held Thursday at the Tioga Church of Christ for Mrs. Tassey May Riddels, 56.  Mrs. Riddels died Tuesday at a Pilot Point hospital from a small rifle wound accidentally inflicted by her son, Guy Riddels, 15, at their home at Tioga, last Friday.  Burial was in Tioga Cemetery.
She is survived by 3 sons, Chester R. Riddels, Paul [sic] D. Riddels, and Guy Riddels, all of Tioga; 5 daughters, Mrs. Treat Usrey, Ft. Worth; Mrs. Raymond Dodson, Collinsville; Mrs. Howard James, Tioga; Mrs. Elzie Hall, Mansfield, and Mrs. Copy Hammel, Dallas; 3 brothers, Willie Coffey, W.D. Coffey and A.C. Coffey, all of Ft. Worth; 2 sisters, Mrs. Glen Sloan of Maypearl and Mrs. Bob Barnes of Tioga;  27 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
