   Sonja L. Jones 26 June 1939 - 16 February 2009 Charles J. Jones 26 April 1934 - 22 September 2014 wed 6 October 1956  Charles "Sonny" Jones, age 80, of Farmersville, Texas, passed away September 22, 2014. He was born April 26, 1934 in Celina, Texas, to Joseph Melvin and Lorine (Odle) Jones. On October 6, 1956, Sonny married Sonja Lewjuan Guest. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Sonny loved technology and computers; he was an electrician by trade. Sonny was an antiques dealer and appraiser. He loved to travel. He is survived by his children, Tamera Davis and husband Danny of Farmersville, Texas; Rick Jones and wife Debra of Van, Texas; Joe Jones and wife Elizabeth of Bossier City, Louisiana; grandchildren, Brandy Hopkins, Steven Williams, Heather Poole, Tyler Davis, Jacqueline Jones, Brittany Jones, Jennifer Wardlaw, Kelly Turner, Tamera Snow, Joshua Jones, Crystal Jones, Stacy Anello, Charlotte Jones and Keeli Jones; 29 great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Powell of Princeton, Texas; Sue Jones of Pottsboro, Texas; and Viki Hocker of McKinney, Texas; brother, Jack Jones and wife Carolyn of Blue Ridge, Texas. Sonny is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lorine Jones; wife, Sonja Lewjuan Jones; grandson, Brandon Williams; brothers, Butch Jones, Bobby Jones and Bill Jones; sister, Delores Sides. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Tioga Cemetery in Tioga, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation being held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. She was born on June 26, 1939 in Tioga to Emery Earl and Elyata (Jones) Guest. She married Charles J. Jones on October 6, 1956 in McKinney. She wasn an electronic tech. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2009 at Huff/Slay Funeral Home with Rev. John Theisen officiating. Burial will follow at Tioga Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Charles Jones of Farmersville; two sons, Rickey Jones of Van and Joe Earl Jones of Bossier City, Louisiana; and daughters, Tamera Jones-Davis of Farmersville and Rebekah Rohr of Farmersville. She is also survived by brothers, Royce Guest of Valley View, Randy Guest of Sanger, Emery Earl Guest, Jr. of Gordonville and one sister, Shirley K. Cheatham of Bedford, as well as 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
