A6 Lela Doris Barlow Gunter - Funeral services for Lela Doris Barlow, 87, of Gunter will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2007, in Huff Funeral Home Chapel in Pilot Point. L.D. Byrd will orriciate, and burial will be in Tioga Cemetery in Tioga. She died Saturday, March 17, 2007, in Hilltop Haven Nursing Home. Mrs. Barlow was born Oct. 26, 1919, in Gunter, the daughter of General Price and Amy Elizabeth Cox Sturdy. She graduated from high school and was employed as an electrician at L.T.V. Aircraft. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are her son, Larry Fred Thompson of Arlington; sisters, Mandie Maurine Gates, Winnie Earleane Kemp and Alma Ruth Burns; grandchildren, Billy Loyd Thompson, Judy Elizabeth Thompson and Carla McGee; great-grandchildren, Brandi Darville and Katie Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Loma Lee Cooke. Pallbearers will be Stanley kemp, Ricky Kemp, Glenn Wilson and Lonnie Sturdy.
