Services for Mrs Ruby J. Bodovsky, 72 year old retired Tioga city secretary, who died Monday, September 22, 1980, at her home, will be 2 pm Wednesday at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Dwight Guy of the chuch & Walter Frieze will officiate. Burial will be in the Tioga Cemetery, directed by Huff Funeral Home of Pilot Point.

Mrs Bodovsky was born in Celina, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. John S. Ragsdale & was married to Eugene Bodovsky on January 30, 1924, in Sherman. She retired in 1973 after serving as city secretary for many years & in 1978 received the Outstanding Citizen of Tioga Award. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Jerry Bodovsky of Lewisville; daughters, Mrs Nelda Whitworth & Mrs Arvella McKnight, both of Tioga; brother, Lake Balch of Whitesboro; sisters, Leona Gentry of Van Alstyne, & Mrs Mattie Berry of Sherman; 8 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are nephews. The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 pm Tuesday.
