TIOGA - Billy Wayne Burchett, 57, of Tioga, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2006, in Sherman. He was born on Nov. 25, 1948, in Plano to Hervie and Fannie Mullins Burchett. He a retired electrician. Visitation will be Saturday, Aug. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Slay Memorial Funeral center in Aubrey, located at 400 S. Hwy. 377. A funeral service will be held Sunday, Aug. 6, at 2 p.m. at Slay Memorial Funeral Center. The Rev. Luther Slay and Mary Lou Ferguson will be presiding. Burial will follow at the Tioga Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Melinda Wilkins of Tioga; two sons, Bill Wilkins of McKinney and Boyd Hunsaker of Gunter; five grandchildren; seven sisters, Joyce McDaniels of Bridgeport, Barbara Hill, Connie Wallace and Willie Hubbard, all of Little Elm, Mary Ferguson of Krugerville, Sheba Moses of Collinsville, Violet Neighbors of Prosper; and one brother, Charles Burchett of Tioga. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Bertie Krantz; and one brother, J.D. Burchett. Services are under the direction of Slay Memorial Funeral Center.

Carolyn Joyce Burchett, 68, of Tioga, died Monday, November 22, 2013 in her home.  Carol was born April 14, 1945 in Wilmington, DE to William and Sadie (McCormick) Howell.  She married Billy Wayne Burchett on May 11, 1979 in Navo., Texas.
She is survived by her two sons, Bill Wilkins of McKinney, Boyd Hunsaker of Gunter; one daughter, Melinda Wilkins of Collinsville; and five grandchildren, Adam Wilkins, Jeremy Wilkins, Greg Hunsaker, Brandon Hunsaker, Hunter Walthall.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one brother, Charlie McCormick.
Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Slay Memorial Chapel in Aubrey.  A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Tioga Cemetery in Tioga with Rev. Luther Slay officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Terri Slay and Slay Memorial Funeral Center Aubrey.
